Marlene Mazza 1949-2021

Marlene was born May 29,1949, in Cleveland, the daughter of Milton and Elsie Zaletel Malinas. Marlene retired from the health care industry, where she had been an LPN for 30 years. She was a devout Christian, and former member of T.O.P.S. group.

In her spare time, Marlene enjoyed painting and had several Bob Ross oil paintings, which she painted in her home.

Marlene leaves her husband, Andrew Mazza Jr., whom she married June 8, 1990; a daughter, Jennifer (Jessie) Hines of Virginia; two sons, Andrew (Trista) Mazza III and Joseph F. Mazza, both of Austintown; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Marlene also leaves her twin brother, Michael (Toni) Malinas and another brother, James Malinas.

Besides her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by a son, Theodore “Ted” G. Mazza.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, at Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
