Otis Abron 1954-2020
YOUNGSTOWN — Mr. Otis Abron, 66, transitioned to eternal rest Thursday, Dec.17, 2020, at the Lewis Stokes VA Hospital in Cleveland.
Mr. Abron was born Jan. 6, 1954, in Youngstown, a son of William H. II and Melba McClendon Abron.
He was a 1973 graduate of South High School and was an Army veteran. He was a self-employed carpenter who enjoyed doing carpentry for family and others. He was a member of the Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church, the American Legion; and Donald Lockett VFW Post 6488.
He leaves to remember his life and legacy, his mother of Youngstown; three children, Felisha Clinkscale of Columbus, Monica Clinkscale of Atlanta, Ga. and Phillip Hardy of Youngstown; five grandchildren; his siblings, William (Francine) Abron, Priscilla Abron and Keith Abron all of Youngstown, Sandra Abron of Atlanta, Ga. and Sherri Abron of Michigan; his devoted friend, Glenda Britt of Youngstown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, and son, Demar Flores.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home.
