Henry C. Lytle Jr. 1933-2020

Henry was born in Old Fort, N.C., to Elizabeth and Henry C. Lytle Sr. After the passing of his mother at an early age, he was raised by Irie Walker, Georgia and Charlie Sabb in Martinsville, Va.

Henry was a proud Army veteran and volunteer deputy sheriff. He graduated from Youngstown State University. Henry retired from Packard Electric in 1991.

After retirement, you could find Henry enjoying golfing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Henry is survived by his brother, Ronald Foy; sister, Jenetta Foy; and brother-in law, Thomas Parker. He is also survived by his children, Jeanine Lytle of Ohio, Cherrie (Roy) Hall of Georgia, Charles (Donna) Lytle of Maryland, Carolyn Harvin of Maryland and Jennifer (Luther) Elmore Sr. of Virginia. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Jaquan Bevly, Zahria Brown, Lisa (Nate) McWilliams, Tiffany Hall, Earle Hubbard, III, David Austin, Lynnette Lytle, Leah Lytle, Kiara (Thomas) Simmons, III, Alaysia Fox, Leisha Elmore and Luther (Casey) Elmore Jr.; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Henry was preceded in death by his mother and father, Elizabeth and Henry C. Lytle Sr.; surrogate parents, Irie Walker, Georgia and Charlie Sabb; his sister, Kathryn Sabb Parker; brother, Charles Sabb Jr.; and granddaughter, Sasha N. Irvin.

A private memorial will be held by the family to celebrate his life.
