Frank T. Fesz 1926-2020
CAMPBELL — Frank Theodore Fesz, 94, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 15, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
He was born March 21, 1926, in Cleveland, son of Michael and Anna Polanski Fesz. He had resided in Campbell since his marriage in 1957.
Frank worked at Ford Motor Co. while living in Cleveland. He walked the neighborhoods of Campbell as a mailman for 28 years. Up until his death, he could still remember names and home addresses of the people he served.
He was an active member of The National Association of Letter Carriers, where he served a time as local chapter president.
Frank was an active member of St. John Orthodox Church in Campbell and past member of the church council.
All who knew him admired Frank’s positive attitude, his pancake making and love of polkas. His interests and hobbies ranged from gardening to baking, woodworking to wine-making. He was a life-long reader and enjoyed discussing current events.
Frank leaves behind to hold onto his precious memories, his beloved wife of over 63 years, Pauline, whom he married July 20,1957; one daughter, Andrea (Robert) Stroh of Philadelphia; two sons, Greg (Rosemary) Fesz of Cleveland and Ted Fesz of Campbell; six grandchildren, Taryn Stroh (Daniel Bloomgarden), Kira Stroh (David DellaMonica), Elisa Stroh, Maria Fesz (Jesse Friedberg), Christina Fesz and Gregory Fesz; a granddog, Louie; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary, Helen and Anastasia; and brother, Steve.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at St. Elizabeth Hospital CSU, Medical ICU, and Paul Zelina, for their kindness and compassion.
Private funeral and burial services were held.
