Pat and her husband continued to serve as missionaries to China, also serving the Lord together for the past five years as hospice chaplains with Southern Care Hospice in Youngstown. Pat is known for her love for Jesus Christ, her family, the mission field and the least among us.

She leaves behind to follow in her footsteps, her lifelong companion, best friend and husband, Ken; her beloved son, Kenneth Brian Goss and wife Tracy Lynn Czopur Goss; four grandchildren, Kaitlin Elizabeth, Kenneth Robert, Thomas Joseph and Taylor Lynn Goss; brothers, Thomas Edward Hayes, Leo Joseph (Claire) Hayes and James Michael (Stephanie) Hayes; and sister, Jeannette Ann Hayes.

Pat’s life scriptures are: Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path,” Ephesians 2:4-8 “But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions … For it is by grace we have been saved, through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast,” and John 3:16,17 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”
