James B. Kennedy III 1986-2020
YOUNGSTOWN — James B. Kennedy III, 33, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, following complications from pancreatitis, with his family by his side.
He was born Sunday, Nov. 2, 1986, in Youngstown, the son of James B. Kennedy Jr. and Linda Fekety, and was a lifelong area resident.
Jim worked as an industrial cleaner. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, restoring classic cars and cooking.
Jim is survived by his father, James B. Kennedy Jr. of Youngstown; his stepfather, Michael Withers of Youngstown; his mother, Linda Fekety of Youngstown; the mother of his children and love of his life, Danielle Richardson; his son, James B. “Fatman” Kennedy IV; his daughters, Janiya and Jamie Kennedy; brothers, Justin Kennedy of Cleveland and Jordan Kennedy of Youngstown; his stepbrother, Treshaun Withers of West Virginia; nieces and nephews, Jasiyia and Jeremiah Kennedy Jordan, and Joelle Kennedy; numerous cousins and extended family; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, at Lighthouse Covenant Ministries, 1755 Shehy St. Youngstown, OH 44506, where the Rev. Michael Scott will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday.
