Susan D. Mandl-Ramsey 1983-2020
BOARDMAN — Susan Diane Mandl, 37, born Jan. 1, 1983, passed away peacefully at her parents’ home Monday, Aug. 3, 2020, while in the loving care of her family.
A 2001 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, Susan graduated in 2005 from the University of Akron with a B.A. in English.
She was employed by Credit R.P. LLC in Plano, Texas, for 12 years a client billing manager.
Susan is survived by her father, Richard Mandl of Pittsburgh; devoted mother, Mary Ann Cooney and stepfather, James Cooney; and sisters, Catherine (Jason) Simons of Youngstown, Deborah (Jason) Tucker of Virginia, Mary Mandl of Boardman and Beth Mandl of Cleveland. She was a wonderful Aunt to Carter, Molly, Jackson and Taylor Simons.
Susan also leaves her husband, Michael P. Ramsey of Dallas, Texas.
The family wants to gratefully thank Dr. Joseph Zeno for his care, compassion and availability during Susan’s time of need. Susan also received excellent treatment at Baylor Hospital in Dallas and M.D. Anderson in Houston.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Aug. 7, 2020, at Holy Family Church, officiated by Msgr. William Connell.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cardinal Mooney Speech Team, in memory of Susan.
