Reginald J. Miller 1953-2020

YOUNGSTOWN — Reginald Jerome Miller, 67, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Born June 2, 1953, in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of John Miller and Evelma Coleman Miller.

Reginald graduated from South High School. He was employed by General Motors, Youngstown Sheet and Tube and Mill Creek Park maintenance and security. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed coaching the Little Penguins football team and enjoyed watching his favorite football team, the Cleveland Browns.

Reginald leaves to cherish his memory a son, Christopher (Shannon) Miller of Gallatin, Tenn.; a daughter, Keisha Miller-Queener of Youngstown; stepsons, Charles Marlowe and Erik (Nechelle) Marlowe, all of Columbus; a brother, Kelvin Eugene Miller of Syracuse, N.Y.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his domestic partner, Catherine Sharper.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gregory Miller; and a granddaughter, Ryann Queener.

A memorial service will be held by invitation only, Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, at 11 a.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman Ave., Youngstown. Social distancing will be adhered to and masks are required.
