Kenneth L. Polacek, 1939-2020

McDONALD — Kenneth Louis Polacek, 80, peacefully passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at his home.

Ken was born Dec. 17, 1939, in Charleroi, Pa., the son of Louis and Mary Blaschalk Polacek.

He was a 1958 graduate of Charleroi High School and was a General Motors Lordstown retiree. Aside from work and his family, Ken was very active at his local Kingdom Hall and valued all of his strong friendships.

He enjoyed woodworking, stained glass, bird watching, model trains and doing puzzles. He was always active whether it be swimming, skiing, golfing, sailing or biking, and really loved his popcorn. He was also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.

Ken will be deeply missed by April , his beloved wife of 34 years; eight children, Ken, Randy and Rhonda Juillerat, and Brian, Kenny, Chris, Alicia and Tiffany Polacek; 15 grandchildren; and his sister, Andrea Regrut.

Due to the current health crisis, services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
