Janet L. Dutko 1960-2020

Janet was born Sept. 7, 1960, in Youngstown, to Charles and Carolyn McPhiJlamy Johannes. She was the youngest of three daughters, but was definitely the feistiest!

She was a 1978 graduate of Hubbard High School and had a lifetime career at Brentwood Originals, where she was a loyal worker. The greatest achievement of Janet’s life was the birth of her wonderful son, Kenneth. He was her sunshine and joy.

Janet is survived by her son, Kenneth of Austintown; her sisters Evelyn (Jim) Trumbull of Cortland and Barbara Scoggins (her loyal texting buddy and Lifetime movie companion) of Weatherford, Texas; three nephews and four nieces.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, and by her beloved cats, BumBum and Paisley.

Janet’s wishes were to be cremated, with a private celebration of her life.

The family would like extend many thanks to the ICU staff at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital for the compassionate and wonderful care of their mom, sister and aunt.
