Cecelia M. Misik 1918-2020

FARRELL, Pa. — Cecelia M. Misik, 101, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Nugent Home in Hermitage.

Cecelia was born July 5, 1918, in Farrell, and attended Sacred Heart School and Sharon City Schools. She was an active member of the Farrell Music Guild, St. Ann’s Altar Society, and was employed by Westinghouse and The Five and Dime Store in Sharon.

Cecelia was a fantastic cook, baker and homemaker.

She leaves her daughter, Odelia (John) Yoursh of Farrell; son, John “Jack” (Carol) Misik of Campbell; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives throughout the states.

Cecelia was immediately met in heaven by her husband, John “Dzedo” Misik; his parents; and his 12 brothers and sisters. Also attending the reunion were Cecelia’s mother, Mary, and father, George Pollack; along with her sisters, Mary, Anna, Helen, Betty, Paula and Margie; and brothers, George, John and Anthony.

Arrangements were handled by the McGonigle Funeral Home.

Private Catholic services were held at Notre Dame Church, Hermitage.
