Robin Margiotta 1954-2020
YOUNGSTOWN — Robin Margiotta, 66, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord while her whole family surrounded her praising Jesus and singing her favorite worship songs.
Her heart for Jesus and music began at an early age when she, along with her parents and siblings, ministered with their voices singing songs of praise. Robin continued that ministry by leading worship with her husband and children for many years.
Robin faithfully served the Lord all the days of her life and passionately loved her family. She was a homemaker and lovingly gave her time to her children and grandchildren. When she wasn’t with her family, she was ministering to others through music, singing to the elderly, playing the piano and singing on the worship team at her church.
Cooking for others and always having an open door to her home was the way Robin welcomed, loved and shared Jesus with others.
She is survived by her husband of almost 41 years, Frank Margiotta; her five children, Maria (Theodore) Suszczynski, Peter (Danica) Margiotta, James (Heather) Margiotta, Laura (Timothy) Moyer and Frank Margiotta; her eight grandchildren, Alyxandria, Thaddeus, Charlotte, Jackson, Manny, Chase, Colton and Benton; and three siblings, Tina (Mike) Link, Kim Brownlee and Robert (Susan) Brownlee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joyce Brownlee.
There will be a celebration of life 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020, at Greater Life Church, 1900 Canfield Road, Youngstown, OH 44511. Calling hours will be 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the church.
