Roseanne P. Morgan 1942-2019

MARLTON, N.J. — Roseanne P. “Roe” Papa Morgan, 77, of Marlton, N.J., passed peacefully Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019.

Roseanne was born Aug. 22, 1942, in Hubbard, the daughter of the late Seraphine (nee Choppa) and Frank Papa.

Roe was born and raised in Hubbard until her marriage to Dan Morgan. They moved and raised their family around the country living in Washington, D.C., Birmingham, Ala., New Carrollton, Md., and Detroit, Mich., before settling in Marlton, N.J., where Roe became a proud Jersey Girl.

Roe was an administrative clerk for the Marlton Middle School, Evesham Township Fire Department and Evesham Township Police Department for many years. Actively involved with her husband in many endeavors, she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Evesham Township Fire Department and was an Elkette in the Marlton Elks. She has been a longtime active member of St. Joan of Arc Church, serving the church in many capacities.

Roseanne leaves her children, Caren Applegate (Kirk), Linda Davis (Jeff), Susan Kosche and Dan Morgan Jr.; dearly loved grandchildren, Amanda Davis, Megan Shupp (Cody) Morgan Davis, Cari Applegate, Kelly Applegate, Cameron Davis and Samantha Kosche; dear siblings, John Papa (Dee), Mary Helen Wilson, Rita Gontaruk, Tom Papa (Fran), Stella Ryser (Bill), Bob Papa (Mickey), Dan Papa (Becky), Frannie Pence (Tom) and Aggie Moore (Dave).

Roseanne was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Dan J. Morgan; and brother, Tony Papa (Xie).

A Mass of Christian burial was held at her parish, St. Joan of Arc Church in Marlton. Inurnment took place at Jesus Bread of Life Cemetery, Mount Laurel, N.J. Donations may be made, in Roe’s memory, to St. Joan of Arc Church,100 Willow Bend Road, Marlton, NJ 08053.
