Michael A. Kessler 1959-2019

Michael was born Oct. 30, 1959, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of John and Barbara Johnson Kessler Sr.

Michael was a 1978 graduate of Girard High School and had previously worked for McDonald Welding. He was a member of Woodland Park United Methodist Church in McDonald, and the Eagles Lodge No. 2172 of Girard. He loved listening to music, especially the Gaither Brothers, and fishing.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Barbara of Girard; brother, John (Dolores) Kessler Jr. of Girard; sister, Laura MacGregor of Girard; nephews, Charles Kessler Jr., Jason Kessler and Cain McGregor; great-nephews Skevos Mohn, Drake MacGregor and John Cain MacGregor; and his special former sister-in-law, Ethel Rivera.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Kessler Sr.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at Blackstone Funeral Home.

The family will receive relatives and friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Michael will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
