Steve Treglia 1932-2019

Steve was born Oct. 8, 1932, in Valogno, Province of Caserta, Italy, the son of Alessandro and Angelina Treglia.

Steve came to America in 1954 and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. After his service, he worked for the Ohio Leather Works in Girard, and retired from Brainard Rivet.

He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Sons of Italy. He enjoyed playing bocce and had been in several leagues. He also enjoyed gardening, watching boxing, loved music and was a part-time DJ.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rocchina Tartaglia Treglia, whom he married Nov. 9, 1963; and his son, Mario (Molly Kostelic) Treglia of Canfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Claudio.

Calling hours for family and friends will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at Blackstone Funeral Home, with funeral services immediately following.

Steve will be laid to rest at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
