John McMaster 1936-2019

Mr. McMaster was born March 11, 1936, in Youngstown, the son of Charles and Mildred McMaster.

He was a 1954 graduate of Girard High School. Following high school, John enlisted in the U.S. Navy.

John retired from the maintenance department of General Motors, Lordstown, in 1995.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia McMaster, whom he married Sept. 26, 1959; three sons, Scott (Jennifer) McMaster of San Jose, Calif., Tod McMaster of McDonald and Shon (Beth) McMaster of Mayock, N.C.; a brother, Tom (Sue) McMaster of Niles; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, at the Village Banquet Center, 1057 Illinois Ave., McDonald, Ohio 44437. Friends and acquaintances of Jack are invited to join his family during this time to celebrate his life.
