Dorothy F. Squire 1926-2019
COLUMBIANA — Dorothy F. Squire, 93, formerly of Boardman, passed away Wednesday evening, Sept.4, 2019, at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana.
Dorothy was born July 7, 1926, in Cleveland, to Frank and Mary Harber Juhasz. She had four siblings, John, Claire, Peggy and Jane.
She moved to the Youngstown area in 1964 and was a dedicated homemaker.
Dorothy was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Boardman. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, drawing with charcoal pencils, painting with oils, taking long hikes enjoying nature and spending time with her family and friends.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Lynn R. (Marlene) Squire of Kenly, N.C. and Trent R (Cheryl) Squire of Boca Raton, Fla.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
Private services were held Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019. There are no calling hours.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer’s Research, 15825 Shady Grove Road, Suite 140, Rockville, MD 20850 in memory of Dorothy.
