Police activity reported Aug. 7-19:

Aug. 19 -- Robert Lekanudos, 37, 5919 Pymatuning Lake Road, Andover, was arrested following the receipt of lab results from a July 3 traffic stop on East Main Street on a charge of possession of drugs (cocaine).

Aug. 15 -- A juvenile was provided a curfew warning after riding a bike with no lights and dressed in dark clothes after curfew on North Hillside Drive. The juvenile was transported to the post and parents called to come and get the juvenile and bike.

Aug. 15 -- Jesse Chitwood, 20, 622 High St., Newton Falls, was issued a summons for drug abuse (THC marijuana) following a suspicious vehicle investigation at 352 W. Main St.

Aug. 12 -- Anthony Lee, 18, 328 E. Kline St., Girard, was issued a summons during a traffic stop on East Main Street on a charge of transportation of marijuana and was cited for speeding (49 in a 35 zone), and a 16-year-old Youngstown girl was arrested on a Juvenile Court warrant for violation of release.

Aug. 10 -- Janet Kensicki, 79, 17 Hunters Woods Blvd., Canfield, was cited for assured clear distance following a two-vehicle crash on West Main Street.

Aug. 7 -- Seth Coonce, 24, 9458 Stratton Road, Salem, was cited for assured clear distance following a two-vehicle crash on Talsman Drive.
