Police activity reported July 12-21:

July 21 -- David Copes, 28, 217 E. Main St., Girard, was arrested during a traffic stop on Sawmill Run on a Trumbull County warrant for failure to appear, was issued a summons for driving while under suspension, and was cited for speeding (45 in a 25 mph zone).

July 20 -- Decory Graddy, 34, 151 Morrison St., Struthers, was arrested during a traffic stop on East Main Street on a Mahoning County Court 2 failure to appear warrant, was issued a summons for driving while under suspension, and was cited for a defective exhaust.

July 19 -- Mutual aid assistance was provided on post to Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers in administering a Breathalyzer test.

July 18 -- Mutual aid assistance was provided on state Route 11 to Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers who requested a canine sniff of a vehicle involved in a traffic stop at mile marker 34.

July 18 -- Jason Pringle, 37, 1721 Ohltown-McDonald Road, Niles, was arrested during a traffic stop on North Broad Street on a charge of OVI and was cited for open container and an expired registration.

July 18 -- Brayden Fowler, 18, 3022 Heatherbrae Drive, Poland, was issued a summons during a traffic stop on West Main Street on a charge of drug possession (marijuana cartridges).

July 17 -- John Dimick Jr., 39, 110 Adams St., Campbell, was arrested during a traffic stop on East Main Street on charges of OVI and driving while under suspension, and was cited for a marked lanes violation and transportation of marijuana.

July 17 -- Blair Floyd, 34, 836 Genesee Ave., Warren, was arrested during a traffic stop on East Main Street on an undisclosed Trumbull County arrest warrant.

July 17 -- A 17-year-old Niles boy was issued a summons during a traffic stop on East Main Street on a drug abuse charge (marijuana) and was cited for illegal window tint.

July 17 -- Callie Bender, 24, 10808 Akron-Canfield Road, Canfield, was arrested during a traffic stop on Fairview Drive on a Mahoning County Court 5 warrant for failure to appear and was issued a summons for transportation of marijuana, and Logan Morris, 18, of the same address, was issued a summons for no operator's license and was cited for a marked lanes violation.

July 16 -- Loss of $4,500 in a series of fraudulent calls involving a Bitcoin scam reported in the 500 block of Stoneybrook Drive.

July 15 -- Alyssa Joy, 22, 114 Steel St., Youngstown, was arrested during a traffic stop on East Main Street on a Mahoning County Court 4 failure to appear warrant, was issued a summons for no operator's license, and was cited for an unsafe vehicle.

July 15 -- Janae Gambill-White, 32, 196 Mansell Drive, Liberty, was arrested during a traffic stop on East Main Street on a Mahoning County Court 2 failure to appear warrant, was issued a summons for driving under suspension, and was cited for following too close.

July 4 -- Almando Lane, 50, 2211 Volney Road, Youngstown, was arrested during a traffic stop on Holly Drive on charges of operating a vehicle impaired and alcohol consumption in a motor vehicle, and was cited for two brake lights required.

July 1 -- Jeremy Krampert, 43, 143 Dulude Ave., Woonsocket, Rhode Island, was arrested during a traffic stop on Lisbon Street on charges of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle impaired, and was cited for open container and a marked lanes violation.

June 25 -- Theft of two unscratched lottery tickets from an unlocked vehicle reported in the 400 block of Hickory Hollow Drive.
