Police activity reported Feb. 24-March 1:

March 1 — A 17-year-old Youngstown girl was issued a summons for unruly child and trespassing in the 200 block of Callahan Road.

Feb. 28 — Shawn Findley, 27, 2979 Beal St., Warren, was arrested during a traffic stop on South Broad Street on a charge of OVI and was cited for open container and a defective exhaust.

Feb. 27 — Rafael Cotto, 57, 7177 Youngstown-Salem Road, Canfield, was arrested during a traffic stop on Youngstown-Salem Road on charges of OVI and failure to comply with a police order, and was cited for speeding and a stop sign violation.

Feb. 26 — Karen Shoemaker, 77, 9926 Berlin Station Road, Canfield, was arrested during a traffic stop on West Akron-Canfield Road on a charge of OVI.

Feb. 24 — Gene Bird, 58, 331 Fairground Place, Smithfield, was issued a summons for improper turn and on a hit skip charge following a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of East Main and North Broad streets.
