Police activity reported Dec. 12-30, 2025:

Dec. 30, 1 a.m. — Assault reported at 2868 Tibbets Wick Road after a woman told police she and the father of her children got into an argument and he assaulted her and grabbed a cell phone out of her hand and threw it on the floor.

Dec. 29, 10:01 a.m. — A resident at 371 Brunstetter Road reported hearing numerous gunshots and then pellets hitting her house. Police found people shooting who said they had permission to hunt geese on a nearby property. Police advised them to leave.

Dec. 28, 10:27 a.m. — Burglary reported at 2578 Chestnut St. after a person kicked in a door of the house and two people began arguing. A man and a woman arguing were attacked and scratched by a dog in the house.

Dec. 27, 1:09 p.m. — Theft reported at 3490 state Route 46 after a woman reported items were stolen from her Jeep parked in a driveway. A screwdriver set and a turbo for a truck were missing.

1:22 a.m. — A man and woman were arguing inside an apartment at 3830 state Route 46. The man tried to flee from police through a window and onto a balcony.

Dec. 26, 10:19 p.m. — Disturbance reported at 2518 Walnut St. after two men were fighting in the street. Police stopped the fight and found the men were intoxicated.

10:14 p.m. — Intoxicated person reported at 2892 W. Liberty St. after a man reported a woman got into her car after an argument and hit the side of his car while exiting a driveway. Police saw damage to both vehicles.

5:50 a.m. — Criminal damage reported at Petro Place after a man driving a truck parked in the parking lot went inside to get a shower and when he came back he found someone had cut the seat and lock off the trailer. The driver said it did not appear anything was missing.

Dec. 23, 9:26 a.m. — Harassment reported at 2152 Squirrel Run Court after a woman reported she had received a letter from an inmate at the federal prison in Lisbon who she met once while working. The woman said she would reach out to the prison and tell them that she does not want him contacting her.

Dec. 22, 10:34 a.m. — Harassment reported at 1458 Morris St. after a man told police a woman he has been texting with asked for money and made threats. Police told the man it is a scam and he should block the woman’s number and social media accounts.

Dec. 21, 2:53 p.m. — Telephone harassment reported at 2722 Aspen Drive after a woman told police another woman has been harassing her with texts and will not leave her alone. Police told the woman to block the number.

Dec. 13, 8:02 p.m. — Theft reported on Youll Street after a man was seen removing a stop sign from the ground and leaving with it. Police checked the area but could not locate the man.

7:57 p.m. — Domestic dispute reported at 4024 Evaline St. after a woman told police a male relative attempted to get into her home. The woman showed police security video of the incident.

10:53 a.m. — Theft reported at 1678 Laura Lane after a woman told police she wrote a check for $11,530, placed it in an envelope and mailed it. She said Capital One told her they never received the check. The woman called the bank and they gave her the name of a woman who cashed the check.

Dec. 12, 9:29 a.m. — Theft reported at 3723 Karen Drive after a man told police he purchased a nativity scene online but did not receive it. Relatives of the man told him that it was a scam.

9 a.m. — Theft reported at 3020 Austintown Warren Road after a woman told police someone hacked into her personal bank account and removed $300. She said someone also gained access to her mother’s credit card information, which she has to pay her mother’s bills.

Jan. 7, 5:46 p.m. — A 17-year-old Youngstown girl was arrested on a theft charge at TJMaxx.

5:44 p.m. — Huan Xiao, 37, 4044 St. Andrews Court, Canfield, was arrested on a domestic violence charge at 4880 Market St.

4:38 p.m. — Thomas R. J. Vititow, 43, 102 Carter Circle, Boardman was served with two Boardman theft warrants at the Mahoning County jail.

Jan. 6, 7 p.m. — Christine R. Wiery, 33, 62 Beechwood Drive, Boardman, was arrested during a traffic stop on Southern Boulevard on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments, and was cited for driving while under suspension and failure to signal a turn.

5 p.m. — Benjamin E. Kane, 46, 770 Annawan Lane, Boardman, was arrested by Mahoning County deputies on a Boardman theft warrant.

3:15 p.m. — Alek L. Steele, 23, 38015 Salem-Unity Road, Salem, was arrested at the station on a sexual imposition charge.

10:41 a.m. — James S. Davis, 58, 324 White House Lane, Boardman, was booked on a warrant related to a Nov. 22, 2025, crash.

9:57 a.m. — Kristi L. Summerville, 43, 2212 Windsor Ave., Youngstown, was arrested at the station on a Boardman theft warrant.

Jan. 5, 5:04 p.m. — Jerron D. Davenport, 40, 2266 Clark Ave., Youngstown, was arrested by Struthers police on a Boardman theft warrant.

2 p.m. — Lewis O. Como, 81, 8408 Hitchcock Road, Boardman, was arrested at the Geauga Police Department on a Boardman domestic violence warrant.

8:07 a.m. — Gregory J. Currie, 44, 403 Southern Blvd., Warren, was arrested by Trumbull County deputies on a Boardman theft warrant.

8:02 a.m. — Jordan J. Paradise, 36, 726 Lake Drive, Youngstown, was arrested on Crestview Drive on a Cuyahoga County probation violation warrant.

5:16 a.m. — William P. Jones, 28, 105 W. Boston Ave., Youngstown, was arrested at Hampton Inn on a domestic violence charge, and Ka’Vaughndalyn S. Hall, 29, 103 E. Judson Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a Trumbull County probation violation warrant and was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 4, 1:25 p.m. — Paul W. Roth, 64, 604 E. Lutton St., New Castle, Pa., was arrested on a theft charge at Walmart.

11:30 a.m. — Lindsey N. Brown, 32, 417 Fourth St., New Philadelphia, was arrested during a traffic stop on South Avenue on a Columbiana County warrant on a charge of possession of synthetic drugs.

8:16 a.m. — Ronald E. Campbell III, 44, 2721 S. Lipkey Road, Jackson, was arrested at the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office on a Boardman warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Jan. 2, 8:04 p.m. — A 17-year-old Struthers girl was arrested on an unruly juvenile charge at 6121 Market St.

3:20 p.m. — Sandra L. Solis, 53, 51 Halleck St., Youngstown, was arrested on a theft charge at Walmart.

2:57 p.m. — Cheyenne R. Sudacov, 28, 198 Argyle Ave., Boardman, was arrested on a theft charge at Giant Eagle on Doral Drive.

2:30 p.m. — Shaun L. McGee, 45, 4105 Arden Blvd., Boardman, was arrested at the station on a Mahoning County warrant for failure to appear.

10:17 a.m. — Richard E. Hofus, 24, 595 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, was arrested at the station on a Boardman theft warrant.

7:56 a.m. — Grace A. Mangapora, 23, 451 Chatsworth Lane, Canfield, was arrested by Canfield police on a Boardman theft warrant.

Dec. 31, 9:13 p.m. — Kenneth C. Townsend, 52, 110 W. Wood St., Youngstown, was arrested on a Boardman assault warrant during an investigation into a vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks on Southern Boulevard.

2:30 p.m. — John R. Pinkerton, 32, 2150 Canfield Road, Youngstown, was arrested by Milton Township police on a Boardman theft warrant.

1:03 p.m. — Shawn L. Green, 52, homeless, was arrested on a Boardman theft charge.

Dec. 30, 11 p.m. — Quintin M. Burns, 20, 7105 Maranthana Ave., Boardman, was arrested during a traffic stop on Market Street on charges of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and underage possession of marijuana.

5:43 p.m. — Joseph J. Corpa, 68, 302 Pine Hollow Drive, Lowellville, was arrested during a traffic crash investigation at the intersection of Boardman-Poland Road and Market Street for operating a vehicle impaired and was cited for driving while under suspension and assured clear distance.

3:38 p.m. — Ahmad T. Abdelfattah, 60, 4228 Market St., Boardman, was arrested on a theft charge at Meijer.

2:57 p.m. — Alyssa M. Danzo, 28, 358 Ridgefield Ave., Boardman, was arrested on charges of domestic violence, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.

12:10 p.m. — Whitney M. Dowdy, 32, 1185 S. Mahoning Ave., Alliance, had an additional charge of theft added to her warrant stemming from a Dec. 20 arrest at Target.

12:05 p.m. — John D. Druzisky, 58, 7523 Jaguar Drive, Boardman, was arrested on Portage County warrants for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug abuse instruments.

Jan. 7, 4:31 p.m. — Jasmine Flores was arrested on a theft warrant at 338 N. Edgehill Ave.

12:11 p.m. — Kasey Morgan was arrested at the Trumbull County jail on a warrant for charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, complicity and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

Jan. 6, 7:32 p.m. — A man in a red minivan fled from Home Depot with $549 in merchandise.

6:22 p.m. — Criminal damage and menacing reported at Ruby Tuesday.

12:23 p.m. Daniel McDonald was arrested on a charge of domestic violence at 250 N. Roanoke Ave.

7:01 a.m. — Theft from a vehicle reported at Pilot Travel Center, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Jan. 5, 12:28 p.m. — Theft of a purse and its contents reported at Meijer.

6:21 p.m. — Dane T. Neal was arrested at the intersection of Mahoning Avenue and Marcia Drive on a warrant for passing bad checks.

5:54 p.m. — A man stole items from Meijer and fled the scene in a silver Nissan Altima.

1:35 p.m. — Attempted break-in with a fence cut and a ladder taken reported at Home Depot.

Jan. 1, 11:57 a.m. — Theft of a Samsung cell phone reported at Meijer.

11:16 a.m. — Theft of $40,000 in cash and $500 in silver coins reported at 4654 Burkey Road.

Dec. 31, 1:16 a.m. — Amber L. Rotunno was arrested during a traffic stop on South Raccoon Road on a charge of operating a vehicle impaired.

Dec. 30, 1:38 p.m. — Wallet reported lost at Giant Eagle.

12:46 p.m. — Diamond necklace reported missing at Nova Care rehabilitation.

Dec. 29, 9:03 p.m. — A 13-year-old juvenile was arrested at a North Yorkshire Boulevard residence on charges of domestic violence, resisting arrest and intimidation.

7:51 p.m. — David J. King was arrested on a charge of failure to comply following a pursuit on Lou Ida Boulevard and West Webb Road.
