Police activity reported Aug. 4-16:

Aug. 16 -- David Cotton Jr., 18, 643 W. Earle Ave., Youngstown, was arrested during a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard on charges of operating a vehicle impaired and drug abuse (marijuana), and was cited for a seatbelt violation and speeding (47 in a 25 zone).

Aug. 14 -- Jon Morucci, 52, 475 Brookpark Drive, Canfield, was arrested on a Canfield warrant for theft and criminal trespassing related to a theft of electricity report taken June 5.

Aug. 11 -- Lawn damage reported from a contractor completing work at a neighbor's house in the 300 block of Bradford Drive.

Aug. 8 -- Vincent D'Alesio, 28, 183 Surrey Lane, Canfield, was arrested on charges of aggravated menacing, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and criminal damage.

Aug. 4 -- Phillip Hawkins, 61, 3911 Ridge Road, Cortland, was cited for assured clear distance after a two-vehicle crash on East Main Street.

Police activity reported Aug. 5-9:

Aug. 9 -- Aymie Hittle, 33, 114 Millet Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons during a traffic stop on Herbert Road on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia (cut straw with residue) and was cited for speeding (37 mph in a 25 mph zone).

Aug. 7 -- Derrick Maddox, 38, 705 Cassius Ave., Youngstown, was arrested by Struthers Police on a Canfield Mayor's Court warrant for failure to appear.

Aug. 5 -- Christopher Smith, 23, 202 Fairground Blvd., Canfield, was arrested during a traffic stop on East Main Street on a charge of operating a vehicle impaired and was cited for two brake lights required.

Aug. 5 -- Richard Cianciolo, 39, 8198 Knauf Road, Canfield, was arrested during a traffic stop on East Main Street on charges of operating a vehicle impaired and possession of drug paraphernalia (meth pipe), and was cited for a use of headlights violation.

Aug. 1 -- A 17-year-old Chagrin Falls girl was issued a summons, during a traffic stop on North Broad Street, to the Juvenile Justice Center for speeding (47 mph in a 35 mph zone) and a marked lanes violation.

July 30 -- Hadley Ramirez George, 20, 2480 Debolt Road, Utica, was issued a summons during a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard for driving under suspension and was cited for speeding (36 mph in a 25 mph zone).

July 30 -- Christopher Lawson, 34, 2203 18th St., Canton, was arrested during a traffic stop on Stratford Green Drive on a charge of operating a vehicle impaired and driving under failure to reinstate status, and was cited for a marked lanes violation.

July 29 -- James Rudicil, 39, 3649 Indian Run Drive, Canfield, was arrested in the first block of Barnstone Lane on a charge of violation of a protection order.

July 26 -- Daniel Tasiemski, 53, 284 Colonial Drive, Canfield, was cited for improper starting or backing following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hood Drive and East Main Street.

July 23 -- Robert Evans, 86, 7737 Crimson Trail, Boardman, was cited for assured clear distance following a two-vehicle crash on East Main Street.

July 22 -- Kristen Mollica, 51, 820 Blueberry Hill Drive, Canfield, was arrested at Mahoning County Court 5 on a 2018 warrant for three counts of child endangering.

July 20 -- Melissa Schmid, 44, 175 Surrey Lane, Canfield, was cited for assured clear distance following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Fairground Boulevard and East Main Street.

July 18 -- Andrea Carritz, 51, 11282 Blott Road, North Jackson, was arrested during a traffic stop on West Main Street on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for a defective exhaust.
