Police activity reported April 24-30:

April 30, 3:55 p.m. — Travis G. Gant, 32, 5370 state Route 5, Newton Falls, was arrested on a theft charge following a shoplifting call at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

2:28 p.m. — Robert L. Frantz, 60, 1223 North Road, Niles, was arrested on a theft charge following a shoplifting call at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

7:36 a.m. — Trevor A. Lodge, 29, 41983 Metz Road, Columbiana, was arrested by Columbiana County deputies on a Boardman warrant for aggravated menacing and communications harassment.

April 29, 4:56 p.m. — Brandon M. Sparks, 37, 1700 Lynn Mar Ave., Boardman, was arrested on a charge of public indecency following a call to 1704 Lynn Mar Ave.

2:44 p.m. — James A. Banks, 42, homeless, was arrested on burglary charges following a report of a broken window and a person residing in a vacant room at 7015 Market St.

7:53 a.m. — Spencer J. S. McCrory, 23, 7505 Merwin-Chase Road, Brookfield, was arrested by Trumbull County deputies on Boardman warrants for aggravated menacing and telecommunication harassment.

April 28, 9:45 a.m. — Youngstown police recovered a white 2018 Hyundai Elantra at 1933 Canfield Road that was reported stolen from the Southern Park Mall, 7401 Market St.

April 27, 5:22 p.m. — Jashon L. Neely, 21, 1237 Arberdeen Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a Girard warrant for failure to appear on traffic charges and was cited for driving while under suspension following a traffic stop on Market Street.

2:50 a.m. — Veronica S. Figueroa-Carabello, 28, 27 E. Judson Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on an endangering children charge following a call to 7135 Tiffany Blvd. regarding two young children left unattended in a vehicle.

April 26, 9:39 p.m. — Three undisclosed juvenile boys were released to the custody of a Safehouse Residential Home staff member following an investigation into the three boys at the Southern Park Mall who were entered as runaways.

April 25, 11:58 p.m. — Hunter G. Mathie, 20, 7071 Glendale Ave., Boardman, was arrested on a Portage County felony warrant for aggravated possession and possession of drugs following a traffic stop on Market Street.

6:57 p.m. — James F. Coffee, 37, 2460 Eastwood Ave., Newton Falls, was arrested by Niles police on a Boardman warrant for domestic violence and robbery.

1 p.m. — Robert M. Allen, 24, 952 Catalina Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on Boardman warrant for domestic violence, on a Niles warrant for felony strangulation, and a Youngstown warrant for obstructing, following a dispatch to an undisclosed address regarding a domestic situation.

April 24, 8:45 p.m. — Dontraile L. Price, 25, 3577 Stauton Drive, Liberty, was arrested on Boardman warrants for robbery and domestic violence.

2 p.m. — Hailey N. Donohue, 23, 7350 Ranier Trail, Boardman, was arrested by Stark County deputies on Boardman warrants for two counts of possession of drugs and child endangering, and Nicole M. Patterson, 43, of the same address, was arrested by Stark County deputies on Boardman warrants for two counts of possession of drugs.

4:31 a.m. — Alonzo R. Fornore, 46, 171 Brookline Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while under the influence, driving while under suspension, and domestic violence following a 911 call investigation.
