Police activity reported March 8-16:

March 16 -- Mutual aid was provided to Boardman police in performing a canine air sniff resulting in a positive alert for drugs in a vehicle stopped on West Boulevard in Boardman.

March 15 -- Dillon Swogger, 25, 384 Cowpath Road, Aliquippa, Pa., was arrested on a Campbell warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge and was cited for a marked lanes violation following a traffic stop on Hood Street.

March 14 -- Mutual aid was provided to the Boardman police in performing a canine search for property that may have been discarded in a pursuit resulting in the location of some items.

March 14 -- A 16-year-old Salem boy was summoned to the Juvenile Justice Center on charges of drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia, and underaged tobacco, following an investigation at MCCTC, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

March 13 -- Tanayjah Clay, 21, 3419 Hillman St., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of theft of a motor vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, related to a Jan. 1 incident in the 400 block of Fairground Boulevard.

March 11 -- Christopher Robinson, 41, 228 Pritchard Ave., Lisbon, was arrested on charges of drug abuse (Fentanyl), possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle while impaired, driving under multiple suspensions, and on a warrant out of Columbiana County, and was cited for a marked lanes violation and failure to signal, following a traffic stop on Boardman-Canfield Road.

March 8 -- Gary Mills, 57, 140 Chestnut St., Wyandote, Mich., was cited for vehicles traveling in opposite directions must yield, following a two-vehicle traffic crash on Cardinal Drive.
