Police activity reported March 15-21:

March 21, 1:02 p.m. -- Theft of a Penske truck from 350 Victoria Road was later recovered by Canton police.

12:24 p.m. -- Theft of a purse reported at 4642 Mahoning Ave.

March 20, 11:21 p.m. -- Clifford J. Crase, 79, and Kathleen A. Foos-Merwin, 71, both of 17 McDonald Ave., Niles, were each arrested on a charge of theft, following a shoplifting call at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

6:16 p.m. -- Scam involving concert tickets reported at 3632 S. Raccoon Road.

March 19, 7:56 p.m. -- A Meander Run resident was scammed out of $1,400.

7:11 p.m. -- Criminal damaging (spray paint) to the side of a building reported at 209 N. Yorkshire Blvd.

2:37 p.m. -- Theft of a food stamp card with a loss of $195.77 reported at Gateways, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

9:16 a.m. -- Theft of an undisclosed make of vehicle reported at 981 Compass West.

7:54 a.m. -- Kia reported stolen after a window was broken out at 987 Compass West.

March 18, 6:47 p.m. -- Theft of a debit card reported at Frenchy's, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

6:20 p.m. -- Brian J. Zordich, 58, 468 Wesley Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of theft and criminal trespassing, and on an Austintown warrant for theft, following a call to Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. regarding a known habitual thief in the store with a warrant.

March 17, 3:26 p.m. An investigation was conducted into the possible accidental discharge of a weapon at 3616 Meander Reserve Circle.

March 16, 10:17 p.m. -- An undisclosed theft reported at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

March 15, 8:50 p.m. -- Zachary A. Abdallah, 22, 4938 Autumnwood Lane, Brunswick, was arrested on a charge of breaking and entering following a call to Midas Muffler, 4540 Mahoning Ave. regarding a person breaking a wall at the business.

4:40 p.m. -- Narinder Singh, 43, 81 N. Main St., Austintown, was issued a summons for falsification and was cited for improper backing, following an investigation into a two-vehicle crash on Seventy-Six Drive.

1:37 p.m. -- Assault reported at 4717 Woodhurst Drive, which is pending further investigation.

March 13, 8:38 a.m. -- Theft of fuel from a parked semi-truck reported at 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

March 12, 2:31 p.m. -- A resident reported losing $300 through a fraud scheme at 4450 Mahoning Ave.

9:04 a.m. -- Sharlie R. Ward, 27, 726 Forestridge Drive, Boardman, was arrested on a Medina Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear for arraignment, following a traffic stop on Mahoning Avenue.

March 11, 9 p.m. -- Undisclosed theft and criminal trespassing reported at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

7 p.m. -- Deanna M. Strickland, 66, 208 Berkshire Ave., Youngstown, and Ronald G. Strickland, 67, of the same address, were each issued summons for disorderly conduct, following a call to Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, 777 Hollywood Drive, regarding two people fighting in the parking lot.

6:35 p.m. -- Theft of cigars reported at Valley Tobacco, 5880 Mahoning Ave.

2:30 p.m. -- Theft of a DeWalt air compressor reported at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.

2:25 p.m. -- Theft of merchandise totaling $453.64 on Jan. 16 reported at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.

12:39 p.m. -- Chance J. McCreight, 21, 555 N. Oakland St., Sharon, Pa., was arrested on a Trumbull County warrant for failure to appear and was cited for driving while under suspension, following a traffic stop on South Raccoon Road on a vehicle with an expired registration.

March 10, 11:22 p.m. -- Shawana L. Tarver, 33, 916 Winona Drive, Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of theft following a call to Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave., regarding a woman accused of skip-scanning merchandise.

March 9, 12:51 p.m. -- Attempted theft of a 2022 Kia Soul reported at 5523 Colgate Drive.

12:50 p.m. -- Theft of $500 from a purse left in the parking lot reported at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

March 9, 2:06 p.m. -- Theft of food totaling $108.62 reported at Aldi, 5863 Mahoning Ave.
