Police activity reported Jan. 11-19:
Jan. 19 -- Scott Cooper, 39, 609 Seventh St., East Liverpool, was arrested on charges of falsification and on an undisclosed warrant out of Columbiana County, following a call about a suspicious person at 586 E. Main St.
Jan. 19 -- Following a call to Ahlquist Eye Care, 45 Manor Hill, regarding unwanted communications made to an employee, a man was asked not to return to the business.
Jan. 18 -- A student was caught vaping in the restroom at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road. However, the student was of legal age and was not charged and only received school discipline.
Jan. 11 -- Mutual aid was provided to Mahoning County Sheriff's Office deputies in arresting a man attempting to withdraw money using a false identity at Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 4280 Boardman-Canfield Road.
