Police activity reported Nov. 13-18:

Nov. 18 — Kevin Bacher Jr., 35, 954 Homewood Ave., Salem, was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs (Alprazolam), following a traffic stop on Lisbon Street.

Nov. 16 — Nathan Kosmo, 18, 423 Tenth St., Struthers, was issued a summons for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia following an investigation at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

Nov. 13 — A 16-year-old Salem boy was issued a summons for underage possession of tobacco, following an investigation at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

Police activity reported Nov. 8-12:

Nov. 12 — Mickele Glen, 34, 104 Jackson St., Campbell, was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs (cocaine, Tramadol and heroin) and was issued a summons for driving while under suspension, and Paris Jones, 61, East Avondale Avenue, Youngstown, was issued a summons for wrongful entrustment, following a traffic stop on Fairview Avenue.

Nov. 10 — Jeremiah Johnson, 45, 1666 Schroeder Road, Mogadore, was arrested on charges of theft and passing bad checks, related to a Feb. 27, 2023, incident at USA Rolls, 451 W. Main St.

Nov. 8 — Bryan Baskett, 57, 231 Southview Road, Canfield, was issued a summons for dog running at large, following a call regarding a dog attacking a cat.

Nov. 8 — A 15-year-old Austintown girl was summoned to the Juvenile Justice Center for delinquent child by way of possession of drugs (THC oil) and drug abuse (Dab pen) following an investigation at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

Nov. 8 — Angel Paguay-Santos, 43, 157 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of receiving stolen property related to an Oct. 19, 2023, report of the theft of drywall from Bernard Daniels Lumber, 250 Railroad St.

Nov. 8 — Leah Tezak, 34, 729 Outrigger Cove, Painesville, was issued a summons for dissemination of image of another, following an investigation into a report of unwanted messages from the estranged spouse of the complainant’s boyfriend in the 300 block of Montridge Drive.

Police activity reported Oct. 27-Nov. 2:

Nov. 2 — Timothy Vajas, 40, 1388 S. Ohio Ave., Columbus, was arrested on charges of possession of drugs (cocaine) and driving while under suspension following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

Oct. 28 — Glennya Land, 21, 118 Manchester Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons for drug abuse (marijuana) and open container in a motor vehicle, and was cited for improper display of plates; and Victy’azjia Nixon, 22, and Victa’nyia Nixon, 21, both of 135 Tod Lane, Youngstown, were each issued a summons for open container in a motor vehicle, following a traffic stop on Boardman-Canfield Road.

Oct. 27 — Timothy Wheaton, 34, 324 W. Main St., Sharpsville, Pa., was cited for assured clear distance following a three-vehicle crash on East Main Street.

Oct. 30 — Kassi Snay, 25, 572 N. Ellsworth Ave., Salem, was arrested on charges of drug abuse (cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia (crack pipe) following a traffic stop on Lisbon Street.

Oct. 28 — Robert Wilson, 44, 73 Gertrude Ave., Boardman, was arrested on a failure to appear Struthers warrant following a traffic stop on West Main Street.

Oct. 26 — A 16-year-old Canfield boy was summoned into the Juvenile Justice Center for assault following an investigation at MCCTC, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

Oct. 23 — Steven Learn, 36, 3834 Riblet Road, Austintown, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and obstructing official business following a traffic stop on Callahan Road.

Oct. 23 — Draven Blazek, 18, 108 Green Bay Drive, Boardman, was arrested on a charge of assault following a call to MCCTC, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

Oct. 20 — A school resource officer responded to a report of the theft of funds at MCCTC, 7300 N. Palmyra Road. An investigation was initiated and school discipline was given with no charges filed.
