Police activity reported Aug. 31-Sept. 5:

Sept. 5 -- Cameron Brown, 22, 1600 Linden St., New Castle, Pa., was issued a summons for drug abuse (marijuana) following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

Sept. 3 -- Javeon Bebbs, 18, 338 E. Lucius Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, and two 17-year-old Youngstown boys were arrested for being delinquent by way of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and drug abuse (marijuana), following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard.

Sept. 3 -- Bryant McGauley III, 24, 375 Alameda Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired and drug abuse (marijuana), and Shakara Dukes, 26, 127 Dearborn St., Girard, was issued a summons for open container, following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard.

Sept. 2 -- Mathue O'Malley, 26, 111 Chadwick Lane, Austintown, was issued a summons for drug abuse (marijuana) following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

Sept. 1 -- Kurtis Townsend Jr., 24, 8 Chambers St., Campbell, was arrested on an undisclosed Franklin County warrant, and was issued summons for falsification and driving while under suspension, and Imani McQueen, 24, 4015 Monticello Blvd., Youngstown, was issued a summons for open container and wrongful entrustment following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard.

Sept. 1 -- Andrea Springs, 19, 328 Emery Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons for drug abuse (marijuana), and Lisa Springs, 19, of the same address, was cited for no operator's license, following a traffic stop on West Main Street.

Aug. 31 -- Devin Matthews, 26, 408 Erskine Ave., Boardman, was arrested on a charge of assault following a call to 410 Lisbon St. regarding a fight report.
