Aug. 17, 10:33 a.m. -- Mariah A. Francis, 23, 184 Carnegie Ave., Austintown, was arrested on a Mahoning County Court 4 warrant for failure to appear for pretrial, following a call to that address for unknown trouble.
Aug. 16, 2:02 p.m. -- A report was taken regarding the theft of a rug from Smoker Friendly, 1698 S. Raccoon Road.
9:43 p.m. -- A report was taken regarding the criminal damaging of a vehicle window at 64 S. Meridian Road.
10:47 a.m. -- A report was taken regarding the theft of a phone from Westgate Motel, 4493 Mahoning Ave.

Aug. 14, 4:11 a.m. -- Custody was taken from Trumbull County deputies of Mark Y. Lacey, 54, 218 Forest St., Warren, who was under Austintown warrants for two counts of theft and criminal damaging.
2:27 p.m. -- A report was taken regarding two fraudulent checks totaling $5,701.36 at Woodforest Bank, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Aug. 13, 12:47 p.m. -- Alexis B. Ford, 19, 154 Hollywood Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a Girard warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense, following a call to 5657 Baylor Ave. regarding an unwanted woman at the residence.
