12:28 a.m. — Steven N. Cole, 42, 4637 Yarmouth Lane, Boardman, was arrested on a charge of having weapons while under a disability following a diversion at an OVI checkpoint on South Avenue regarding a vehicle with a strong marijuana smell.

Oct. 28, 2:25 p.m. — Devlin D. Simpson, 29, 1057 Compass West, Austintown, was arrested on a charge of theft following a call to J.C. Penney, 7401 Market St., regarding a man skip-scanning items at the checkout.

Oct. 27, 6:37 p.m. — Hannah R. Kriech, 24, 2430 Tyrell Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug abuse instruments (syringe), following a traffic stop on California Avenue.
