Nov. 17 -- A 16-year-old Canfield boy was referred to the Juvenile Justice Center for improper backing, following a two-vehicle crash on Neff Drive.

Nov. 16 -- Marquis Thomas, 27, 480 Francisca Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a Mahoning County Court 5 warrant for failure to appear and was issued a summons for driving while under suspension and following too closely, following a traffic stop on North Palmyra Road.

Nov. 13 -- Attempted abduction reported in the 400 block of South Broad Street, and after an investigation, it was determined that no crime had been committed.

Nov. 13 -- Edward DeSantis Jr., 33, 2224 Windsor Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of improper handling of a firearm, drug abuse (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia (glass pipe) and driving while under suspension, and was cited for illegal window tint; and Wayne Vaughn, 34, 234 Catherine St., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of improper handling of a firearm, having weapons while under a disability, and drug abuse (marijuana) following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

Nov. 12 -- Matthew Quickle, 25, 636 South Stateline Road, Masury, was arrested on a Campbell warrant for failure to appear and was issued a summons for driving while under suspension following a traffic stop on South Broad Street.
