Nov. 14, 5:49 p.m. -- Theft of a five-gallon gas can with fuel reported at Sheetz, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
3:01 p.m. -- Theft of meat by a man in a black GMC pickup truck reported at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
1:48 p.m. -- David C. Mashburn, 57, 850 N. Meridian Road, Austintown, was arrested on an Austintown warrant for assault at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Nov. 13, 10:32 a.m. -- Jerome R. Varga, 44, 3424 Tall Oaks Lane, Austintown, was arrested on an Austintown warrant for theft following a check on the well-being of a woman there.
Nov. 12, 10:38 p.m. -- Joshua T. Weaver, 23, 983 East Ave., Warren, was arrested on a charge of possession of fentanyl, following the diversion of a vehicle at an OVI Task Force checkpoint on South Raccoon Road.
8:35 p.m. -- Theft of five cases of Seagrams by a man in a white Jeep reported at Sheetz, 1101 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
1:18 p.m. -- Theft of cell phones reported at 6043 Callaway Circle.
11:52 a.m. -- Criminal damaging of a house (window broken out) reported at 216 Parkgate Ave.
9:09 a.m. -- Criminal damaging of a building (spray painting) reported at Abundant Harvest Church, 104 Idlewood Road.
Nov. 11, 2 p.m. -- Corey T. North, 24, 6061 Applecrest Drive, Boardman, and Hakeem Thomas, 25, 657 Grassmere Terrace, Far Rockaway, N.Y., were each arrested on a charge of theft following a call to Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave., regarding two men switching bar codes and paying $8.99 for $592.26 worth of merchandise.
3:11 a.m. -- Mutual aid was given to Niles police at the intersection of Northfield and Cedarwood drives for a man's arrest.
