Police activity reported July 29-Aug. 14:

Aug. 14 -- Jericho Hervet, 30, 14803 Hoyle Road, Berlin Center, was arrested on a Mahoning County Court warrant for failure to appear following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

Aug. 13 -- Assistance was provided to Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers involved in a vehicle pursuit at Acton Avenue and South Meridian Road.

Aug. 12 -- Phillip Armour, 60, 2252 Goleta Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a Mahoning County Court warrant for failure to appear, and was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia (straw containing white powder) following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

Aug. 11 -- Assistance was provided to Mahoning County deputies involved with a domestic call at Canfield Township Park, 7419 Herbert Road.

Aug. 10 -- Nathaniel Austin, 62, 1532 Logan Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a Canfield Mayor's Court warrant for failure to appear following a traffic stop on South Meridian Road.

Aug. 8 -- Rocco Seminara, 71, 3659 Brookview Court, Canfield, was cited for assured clear distance ahead following an investigation into a two-vehicle crash on East Main Street.

Aug. 8 -- Heidi Kenney, 58, 120 Jade Circle, Canfield, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for an expired registration, following a traffic stop on North Broad Street.

Aug. 7 -- A 17-year-old Canfield boy was referred to the Juvenile Justice Center for speeding (54 mph in a 35 mph zone).

Aug. 7 -- Joy Maiorana, 39, 4641 Euclid Blvd., Boardman, was arrested on charges of drug abuse (Adderall), possession of dangerous drugs (Zanaflex), and drug abuse (marijuana), and Casey Crozier, 43, 4905 Grover Drive, Boardman, was issued a summons for drug abuse (marijuana) following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

Aug. 7 -- Kyle Bassett, 29, 3826 Shields Road, Canfield, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

Aug. 6 -- Anthony D'Alesio, 21, 763 Oakridge Drive, Boardman, was cited for assured clear distance ahead following an investigation into a two-vehicle crash on West Main Street.

Aug. 5 -- Daitzel Moore, 29, 456 Highland Ave., Warren, was arrested on an undisclosed Mahoning County Court 4 warrant, was issued a summons for driving while under suspension, and was cited for an expired registration following a traffic stop on West Main Street.

Aug. 5 -- James Morocco, 28, 33 Kirk St., Canfield, was issued a summons for drug abuse (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia (metal grinder with residue) following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

Aug. 4 -- A 17-year-old Canton boy was referred to the Juvenile Justice Center for improper handling of a firearm, drug abuse (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia (scale), following a traffic stop on West Main Street.

Aug. 4 -- Lori Bowden, 63, 241 Northview Road, Canfield, was cited for assured clear distance following a two-vehicle crash at North Broad and East Main streets.

July 31 -- McCoy Watkins, 21, 130 Brookpark Drive, Canfield, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for failure to control following an investigation into a vehicle that struck a speed sign on Brookpark Drive.

July 29 -- Samantha Maxwell, 36, 440 Fairground Blvd., Canfield, was arrested on charges of possession of drugs (cocaine) and drug paraphernalia and on two counts of inducing panic.
