Police activity reported May 27-June 3:

June 3 -- Lendell McGeachy, 23, 4853 Westchester Drive, Austintown, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, and was cited for driving while under suspension following a traffic stop at an OVI checkpoint on Mahoning Avenue.

June 3 -- Zachary Razo, 20, 252 Lisbon St., Canfield, was issued a summons for drug abuse (marijuana) following a call to 558 E. Main St.

June 2 -- A 15-year-old Boardman juvenile was referred to the Juvenile Justice Center for aggravated menacing following a call to the 100 block of Callahan Road.

June 2 -- Alex Shroades, 19, 17208 McSwiggin Road, Salineville, was cited for speeding (54 in a 25 zone) and was arrested on an undisclosed Smith Township warrant following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard.

June 1 -- Shane Martin, 29, 1090 North Road, Warren, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance following a three-vehicle crash on East Main Street.

May 31 -- Storm McDonald, 18, homeless, was arrested on a charge of falsification, and Gabriel Snider, 18, 6229 Bramley Drive, Ravenna, was issued a summons for failure to reinstate and was cited for a child restraint violation following a traffic stop on West Main Street.

May 27 -- Robert Gerst, 49, 181 Laurel Hills Lane, Canfield, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance following a traffic crash on Talsman Drive.

May 27 -- Joseph Erjavic, 41, 54 Timber Run Court, Canfield, was cited for assured clear distance following a vehicle crash on West Main Street.

May 27 -- Christina Bishop, 19, 2871 Gretchen Drive, Warren, was arrested on charges of for drug abuse (psilocybin mushrooms), drug abuse (marijuana and a THC pen), and possession of drug paraphernalia (bowl) following a traffic stop on North Broad Street.

May 24 -- Marvin Spivey, 60, 1008 Arch St., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired and was issued a summons for open container and driving while under suspension; and Kathryn Ratliff, 53, 246 Lafayette St., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia (crack pipe) and was was issued a summons for open container following a traffic stop on Herbert Road.

May 23 -- Tera Guy, 32, 225 Coitsville-Hubbard Road, Coitsville, was arrested on charges of falsification, obstructing official business and possession of drug paraphernalia following a response to the 400 block of Fairground Boulevard regarding assistance to the Cardinal Joint Fire District involved with a woman possibly overdosing.

May 23 -- Andrew Johnson, 26, 1258 Huron Road, Massillon, was arrested on a charge of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop on West Main Street.

May 23 -- David Gathers, 30, 5588 Shields Road, Canfield, was arrested on undisclosed warrants out of Mahoning County Courts 2 (Boardman) and 5 (Canfield), and was issued a summons for failure to reinstate and was cited for an obstructed registration, following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

May 23 -- A 16-year-old Boardman girl was issued a summons to the Juvenile Justice Center for possession of drug paraphernalia (THC dab pen).
