Police activity reported April 8-15:

April 15 -- James Shaw, 33, 1793 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for a turn signal violation, following a traffic stop on Montgomery Drive.

April 15 -- Anthony Dangelo, 34, 2224 Ocean Road, Salineville, was arrested on charges of drug abuse (methamphetamine), drug abuse (heroin), drug abuse instruments (hypodermic needles with residue), drug paraphernalia (spoon and pipes with residue), was cited for an unsafe vehicle, and was taken into custody on a Jefferson County warrant for failure to appear; and Michael Huggins Jr., 42, 10 Iris Drive, Toronto, was arrested on charges of drug abuse (methamphetamine), drug abuse (heroin), drug abuse instruments (hypodermic needles with residue, and drug paraphernalia (spoon and pipes with residue), following a traffic stop on Sleepy Hollow Drive.

April 14 -- Mutual aid assistance of a police dog unit was provided to Boardman police involved with a narcotics sniff of a vehicle at 7389 Sierra Madre Trail, Boardman.

April 14 -- Jessica Carter, 27, 4853 Westchester Drive, Austintown, was issued a summons for driving while under suspension, and was arrested on an Austintown warrant for failure to appear, following a traffic stop on North Broad Street.

April 14 -- A 17-year-old Austintown girl was referred to the Juvenile Justice Center for possession of drug paraphernalia (THC vaporizer), following an investigation at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

April 13 -- A 17-year-old Beloit boy was referred to the Juvenile Justice Center for possession of dangerous drugs (Quetiapine Fumarate), possession of dangerous drugs (Citalopram Hydrobromide) and drug paraphernalia (pipe with residue), following an investigation at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

April 12 -- Melissa Rammuno, 28, 8640 N. Palmyra Road, Canfield, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired following a traffic stop on Brookpark Drive.

April 9 -- Shavon Hasley, 27, 3615 Erie St., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and driving while under suspension, and was cited for two headlights required, following a traffic stop on Southern Boulevard in Boardman while working with the OVI Task Force.

April 8 -- Matthew Chuey, 30, 513 Deer Run Drive, Boardman, was cited for assured clear distance following a three-vehicle crash in front of 583 E. Main St.

April 8 -- Edward Yeo III, 87, 425 State Route 208, New Bedford, Pa., was arrested on a charge of theft regarding a March 7 incident at Bernard Daniels Lumber, 250 Railroad St.

March 26 -- Joshua Pilla, 21, 46621 state Route 46, New Waterford, was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia (bowl and grinder), and Cody Staufeneger, 30, 12135 North 12th St., Beloit, was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia (pipes and rolling papers) following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

March 25 -- Gianna Hogue, 19, 155 W. Wood St., Lowellville, was issued a summons for drug abuse (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia (pipe and grinder), and was cited for speeding (44 in a 25 zone), following a traffic stop on Herbert Road.

March 24 -- Susan Herriott, 73, 3719 Mercedes Place, Canfield, was cited for assured clear distance following a two-vehicle crash on East Main Street.

March 24 -- Nequan Brown, 23, 4001 Monticello Blvd., Hubbard, was issued a summons for drug abuse (marijuana) following a traffic stop on North Broad Street.

March 19 -- Jessica Flanagan, 37, 9320 Knauf Road, Canfield, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while under the influence and was cited for driving on a sidewalk following a traffic stop on South Broad Street.

March 18 -- Anthony Canacci Jr., 18, 421 Hood Drive, Canfield, was issued a summons for reckless operation of a vehicle on private property, following a traffic stop at MCCTC, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.
