Police activity reported Sept. 9-20:

Sept. 20 -- Reinaldo Ortiz, 37, 565 S. Hillside Drive, Canfield, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for speeding.

Sept. 19 -- Lucas Rodriguez, 27, 9769 New Road, North Jackson, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for two headlights required after a traffic stop.

Sept. 14 -- Nelson Santiago George Sr., 27, 147 N. Blaine Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a Struthers Municipal Court warrant for a probation violation and was issued a summons for driving while under suspension and speeding.

Sept. 13 -- Two-vehicle crash reported at East Main and North Broad streets. Robert Bacha, 57, 11140 Ellsworth Road, North Jackson, was cited for assured clear distance.

Sept. 10 -- Two-vehicle crash reported on East Main Street. Joseph Hochstetler, 24, 1120 Nova Road, Mechanicstown, Pa., was cited for assured clear distance.

Sept. 9 -- A 15-year-old Canfield boy was referred to the Juvenile Justice Center for obstructing official business and disorderly conduct at Canfield High School, 100 Cardinal Drive.

Police activity reported Aug. 21-27:

Aug. 27 -- James DiCioccio, 61, 7812 Gibson Road, Canfield, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for a marked lanes violation following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

Aug. 23 -- Illegal dumping of a plastic sign reported. Police said the suspects were located and removed the sign.

Aug. 23 -- Gregory Nespeca, 38, 422 Jaronte Drive, Boardman, was cited on a charge of assured clear distance following a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Lisbon and Court streets.

Aug. 23 -- Chad Brown Jr., 23, 130 Elruth Court, Girard, was issued a summons for drug abuse (marijuana) and was cited for two headlights required following a traffic stop on East Main Street.

Aug. 21 -- A vehicle was damaged in the 400 block of Fairground Boulevard.
