July 22, 5:51 p.m. -- Jeffrey A. Bachani, 28, 2115 Elm St., Youngstown, was arrested on a Poland Township warrant for possession of heroin following a suspicious person call at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

8:02 a.m. -- Scam and theft of $3,600 reported on South Beverly Avenue.

7:51 a.m. -- Theft of a catalytic converter reported from a vehicle parked at Second Phase, 1915 Four Mile Run Road.

7:37 a.m. -- Theft of a welder reported at Hard Surfaces, 168 S. Meridian Road.

1:42 a.m. -- Joe Jackson, 23, 612 LaClede St., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of obstructing official business, and Alexander Jimenez, 23, 2004 Pointview Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance following a call to 20 N. Wickliffe Circle regarding an argument and breaking glass.

July 19, 12:23 a.m. -- Shawn C. Hamlett, 25, 142 Gladstone St., Campbell, was arrested on charges of burglary and aggravated menacing following a call to 981 Compass West regarding a burglary in progress.

July 18, 8:18 p.m. -- Charleston A. Jennings, 37, 734 Cambridge Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of violation of a protection order following a traffic stop on South Meridian Road for a vehicle with no rear registration.

3:51 p.m. -- Criminal damaging (keying) of a vehicle reported at Frenchy's, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

1:37 p.m. -- Brittney L. Phillips, 31, 381 E. Florida Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a theft charge following a shoplifting call at Home Depot, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

12:35 p.m. -- Theft of a cell phone reported at 1212 Idaho Road.

2:33 a.m. -- Vehicles damaged during a disturbance at 750 Regal Drive.

2:03 a.m. -- Gary B. Reynolds, 32, 4511 Nantucket Drive, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for speeding (50 in a 35 zone), following a traffic stop on Mahoning Avenue.

12:21 a.m. -- Theft of a black leather Tommy Hilfiger wallet and its contents reported at Get Go, 5163 Mahoning Ave.

2:01 p.m. -- Attempted break-in and criminal damage to a back door reported at Tavola, 7098 Mahoning Ave.

5:13 p.m. -- Andrew D. Stanton, 32, 4801 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, was arrested on an Austintown warrant for theft.

11:27 a.m. -- Theft of a ladder and $95 from The Manor, 3104 state Route 46. The incident happened on March 9, according to a police report.

10:20 a.m. -- Theft of a 2006 Suzuki RMZ-450 reported from a vehicle parked at 3723 Cumberland Circle.

9:14 a.m. -- Vandalism (a door kicked in) reported at 107 Westchester Drive.

2:03 a.m. -- Kwami N. Williams, 20, 1901 Birch Trace, Austintown, was arrested on an Austintown warrant for failure to appear on driving under suspension charges, following a call to Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road, regarding a man begging for a ride and cigarettes.

June 25, 6:37 p.m. -- Possible theft of medication reported at Quality Inn, 870 N.Canfield-Niles Road.

June 24, 5:05 p.m. -- Christopher L. Beach, 41, 829 Nancy Ave., Niles, was arrested on Austintown warrants for theft and complicity to theft related to a May 24 incident about the theft of a catalytic converter at Home 2 Suites, 5580 Patriot Blvd.

3:43 p.m. -- Donald B. Bevly, 62, 747 Porter Ave., Campbell, was arrested on charges of theft, obstructing official business, and possession of drug paraphernalia (crack pipe), following a shoplifting call at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.

2:11 p.m. -- William J. Snowden, 39, 115 N. Edgehill Ave., Austintown, was arrested and charges are pending lab results, following a call for a welfare check at the residence.
