YOUNGSTOWN — A man was taken to the Mahoning County jail Tuesday night after police arrested him at a home on South Jackson Street on the East Side for allegedly striking another man in the head with a handgun and then calling 911 to blame the attack on several “suspects with guns” who came into the house and committed a robbery. Coroner IDs body found on West Ravenwood

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified the man whose body was found Aug. 6 at an abandoned home on West Ravenwood Avenue as Brad Gordon, 39. The coroner’s office released the name in a news release Wednesday that states that Gordon was identified through fingerprints. An autopsy was conducted at the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office, and the death remains under investigation by the Youngstown Police Department and Mahoning County Coroner’s Office. Man riding electric bike falls off, fatally struck by 2 vehicles

Staff report WARREN TOWNSHIP — William Blair, 49, of Leavittsburg, was pronounced dead at the scene of a Tuesday night accident on Tod Avenue (state Route 45) near 8th Street. Blair lost control of the electric bike he was riding and fell off the bike around 9:10 p.m, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported in a news release from the Southington post.
