Staff report YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified the child who died in a Tuesday evening crash on Route 224 in Poland and the man who was shot to death Wednesday evening on Youngstown’s South Side. A Thursday press release states that the child who died was 4-year-old Cassis Huddleston, a passenger who was transferred to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after he was involved in a single vehicle accident at U.S. Route 224 and Poland Way in Poland Tuesday. MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — An Australian public library has had a book returned an estimated 150 years late and has no way of tracking down the errant borrower, a librarian said on Thursday. Donations collected at the store, located at 2015 Wal Mart Drive NE, will be forwarded to an area humane agency. There is a collection box near the exit doors at Menards to place donations. YOUNGSTOWN — The aggravated murder trial of two Youngstown men accused of participating in the shooting death of Reynaldo Hernandez, 24, at the East Side home of co-defendant, Andre K. Bailey, on Bott Street on Oct. 17, 2024, is now set for Sept. 21. Eddie Winphrie, 43, and Vincent Marbley, 61, are charged with aggravated murder, murder, aggravated robbery and tampering with evidence, but they were only recently taken into custody in the case.
