Trumbull health department gets $190K grant

WARREN — The Trumbull County Combined Health District (TCCHD) has been approved for $190,000 in grant funding from the OneOhio Recovery Foundation to support its efforts to address substance use disorders and strengthen prevention, treatment, recovery and community resilience initiatives. Buyers across the country have reported paying for shipping containers from a business claiming to be in Mahoning County, but the buyers never received their purchases. The Better Business Bureau of the Mahoning Valley (BBB) is urging consumers to use caution when purchasing shipping containers online. Lowellville man killed in Poland Township one-vehicle crash

POLAND – The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Canfield Post is investigating a one-vehicle fatal crash that occurred after midnight Saturday on Struthers Road in Poland Township. The OSP reports a 2025 Subaru Forester was traveling northbound on Struthers Road, just south of U.S. Route 224. The driver failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned. Reports indicate the driver and sole occupant, Ryan M.
