YOUNGSTOWN — A woman reported being stabbed in her abdomen while setting traps for feral kittens near a wooded area on the East Side but does not know how she got the stab wound. Officers were called to the ESA apartments in the area of 600 Kendis Circle at 2:08 a.m. Tuesday for a woman with a possible stab wound. When officers located her near a car, she was applying pressure to a one-inch gash on the bottom left side of her stomach that appeared to be about a quarter-inch deep.
