YOUNGSTOWN — A woman reported being stabbed in her abdomen while setting traps for feral kittens near a wooded area on the East Side but does not know how she got the stab wound. Officers were called to the ESA apartments in the area of 600 Kendis Circle at 2:08 a.m. Tuesday for a woman with a possible stab wound. When officers located her near a car, she was applying pressure to a one-inch gash on the bottom left side of her stomach that appeared to be about a quarter-inch deep. Kaylee Hottle, a deaf actor best known for her starring role in two “Godzilla” films, died in a car crash in Maryland early Tuesday morning, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office said. She was 18. Average national gas price hits $4 again, AAA reports

Staff report Gas prices are a penny higher in Northeast Ohio this week at $3.916 per gallon, according to Monday’s AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report. The national average for a gallon of regular gasoline has gone up 13 cents over the past week and is now at $4 per gallon. Instability along the Strait of Hormuz is contributing to the increase at the pump and pushing crude oil prices over $90 per barrel. Body of missing man found near reservoir

Staff report BERLIN CENTER — Searchers found the body of missing North Olmsted man Sean Miller near the boat docks off Bedell Road at Berlin Reservoir sometime after 7 a.m. Tuesday. The Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office issued a notice Monday that the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office and Ohio Department of Natural Resources were looking for Miller, who had been missing since about 2 a.m. Monday from the campgrounds at the reservoir.
