WRTA makes changes to 3 bus routes

1 min read

YOUNGSTOWN ---- The Western Reserve Transit Authority will implement

minor changes to three bus routes beginning Nov. 23 that will affect the No. 10

Belmont, No. 15 Struthers and No. 16 Zedaker routes.

The outbound Belmont route will follow a slightly revised path, traveling up Fifth Avenue and

turning left onto Grant Street.

Additionally, the Struthers and Zedaker routes will be consolidated into a single route

operating under the No. 15 Struthers designation. The new Struthers route will follow the former

Zedaker route on its outbound trip and the former Struthers route on its inbound trip.

The consolidation is intended to eliminate duplicative service and improve efficiency throughout

the WRTA system while maintaining service for passengers in the affected areas. Passengers and

residents should expect only minor changes as a result of the updated routing.

WRTA encourages riders who use these routes to familiarize themselves with the changes ahead

of the November 23 implementation date.
