SKATEPARK EVENT: The Youngstown Skate Park Association and Parks and Recreation Department will have a pop-up skate park 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Glenwood Community Park, 2538 Glenwood Avenue in Youngstown. The free community-focused event will temporarily transform a portion of the city parks property into a skatepark and provide an opportunity for action sports opportunities for neighborhoods throughout Youngstown. Helmets are mandatory for those under age 18.
HISTORICAL SOCIETY LECTURE: The Springfield Township Historical Society Museum continues its "Afternoon at the Museum: speaker series at 2 p.m. Sunday at the museum, 14188 Youngstown Pittsburgh Road in Petersburg. Frank DeRhodes will talk about the 80-year history of the New Middletown Farmers and Sportsman Club. He will talk about the club's contributions to conservation and the education of youth to hunting and fishing. The program is free. The museum opens at 1:30 p.m.
COOK OFF: The Annual Guly’s Cook Off will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Hungarian Cultural Center of Northeastern Ohio in Hiram. The cost is $10 per adult and includes a ballot to vote. Children under 12 years are free. A fun-filled afternoon sampling many tastes of Guly'as. There will be People's Choice winners and Judge Choice winners. Hot dogs, bakery and beverages are also available for purchase.

HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION: A household hazardous waste collection will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Canfield Fairgrounds on state Route 46, Gate 9. For Mahoning County households only. No businesses.
Various items will be accepted. Items not accepted are explosives, pharmaceuticals and latex paint. There will be a five-gallon limit on all containers. Collection and drop-off items will be based on last name. A-G will be from 9 to 11 a.m G-N from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and O-Z from 1 to 3 p.m. For information call 330-740-2060.
FOOD FEST: Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church, 401 12th Street in Campbell will have a Greek food fest from noon to 10 p.m. today and Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. There will be a variety of Greek food and pastries games for children and cultural and religious items for sale. For information call 330-755-9072.
TRASH AND TREASURE SALE: Grace Lutheran Church, 162 South Raccoon Road, is having a trash and treasure sale starting at 9 am. Saturday. This is an all-day, one-day sale. Items include clothes, housewares, tools and antiques. The men’s and women’s groups of the church work together to have the sale. The funds are used for major repair and improvement projects.
ONEOHIO MEETING: The OneOhio Region 7 Collaborative of the OneOhio Foundation will meet at 5 p.m. on Monday at Direction Home of Eastern Ohio, 1030 North Meridian Road.
COIN CLUB MEETING: The Wheatland Mercer County Coin Club will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday at the Wheatland American Legion, 2 Cherry Street, Wheatland, Pa.
This month members will plan a special raffle, main raffle, coin auction, birthday prizes and more. Every member will be awarded one free coin and may participate in the raffles. Light refreshments are available.
Members are encouraged to act as vendors and may sell coins before the meeting.
