WHAT: October Milton trustees meeting
PRESENT: Dave Tomaino, Wendy DiBernardi, Bryce Bond and Lisa Balsinger (fiscal officer)
Trustees:
* Accepted Alexander Peters as a full-time Milton Township police officer.
* Accepted Andrew Monk's resignation from the police department.
* Appointed Aaron Peterman as special officer for the police department.
* Accepted David Dunn Jr.’s resignation from the Milton Township Road Department.
* Approved the annual contract with Mahoning County OVI Task Force.
* Approved to change December’s pay date to Thursday, Dec. 31.
* Reviewed proposed changes to legal language defining an abandoned boat. It was tabled for future discussion.
* Approved the purchase of new tires for fire department squad vehicle 500 from Major League Tire for $1,028.94.
* Approved the use of four loads of cinder on Second Street for repairs.
* Announced discussions for a joint fire district with Jackson Township have been put on hold.
