WHAT: Educational Service Center board meeting Monday
PRESENT: Tom Krispinsky, Carol Young, Deborah Patchin, Denise Domhoff and Laura Rubesich
The board:
• Approved the purchase of a van for $45,566 from Klaben Ford Lincoln of Warren for courier service for transporting items to different buildings served by the center.
•Named Young as delegate and Rubesich as alternate to the Ohio School Boards Association conference in November.
•Approved an agreement with Southeast Local Schools for preschool services through July 2027.
•Approved an agreement with Critical Ops LLC to host a family fly zone at the drone racing league event set April 17.
•Approved an agreement with AMI: Advanced Methods in Innovation for a STEAM program.
•Approved an agreement with Warren City Schools to provide Career Navigator services for the 2026-27 school year and hired Steven Beshara as a career navigator on a one-year contract of 184 days.
•Hired Melissa Miller as a special education supervisor on an as needed basis for up to 90 days.
