YOUNGSTOWN --- Youngstown police said two people in a sport utility vehicle and others on the WRTA bus were taken to the hospital after a crash at Gibson Street and Cameron Avenue shortly after noon Tuesday.
Four passengers and a driver were on board the bus. Police said everyone in both vehicles was taken to the hospital, but there were no life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened in the intersection, but the bus proceeded a little farther south on Gibson Avenue after the crash and into an embankment on the right side of the road.
Both vehicles had heavy damage with heaviest damage on the front of the bus. The intersection has two stop signs with Gibson Street having no stop signs.
