The Diocese of Youngstown's Office of Catholic Schools has appointed Troy Radinsky the new principal at St. Paul Catholic School in Salem.
A Steubenville native, Radinsky is a career educator with more than 20 years experience in school administration. His signature strengths include visionary leadership and strategic planning.
Most recently, he served as assistant principal and district athletic administrator in Western Reserve Local Schools and before that he was the director of curriculum and instruction in the Catholic Diocese of Wheeling, West Virginia.
Radinsky said "I'm honored and excited to join the St. Paul School community. Together, we will continue to provide an exceptional academic setting while nurturing each student's faith, character, and lifelong love for learning."
Upon his appointment, Superintendent Steven Jones said, "I've wanted to get Troy on the diocesan team for some time. His years of experience as a principal and in the superintendent's office will be invaluable in leading St. Paul's. This growing school is one the gems in Columbiana County, and I'm excited to see its future unfold."
St. Paul has just come off a successful year, receiving full accreditation and a renewed STEM school designation.
Principal David Fischer will be moving from St. Paul School in Salem to St. James School in Waynesburg. His move to Waynesburg is a move back to the Stark County area, where he spent most of his career.
