LIBERTY -- The Liberty Township Police Department and the Trumbull County Coroner's office are investigating the death of a male whose body was found in Churchill Park on Thursday.
Police Chief Ray Buhala said Thursday the cause of the death is not known but is being investigated. He said there is no evidence of suspicious activity.
He said video from surveillance cameras at the park will be reviewed.
Police say the death is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
A press release from the police department states that the coroner's office is investigating an "unattended death" at the park.
He said no other information will be released at the present time until the victim is identified and family notified.
