YOUNGSTOWN -- The Mahoning County Coroner's Office has identified the child who died in a Tuesday evening crash on Route 224 in Poland and the man who was shot to death Wednesday evening on Youngstown's South Side.
A Thursday press release states that the child who died was 4-year-old Cassis Huddleston, a passenger who was transferred to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after he was involved in a single vehicle accident at U.S. Route 224 and Poland Way in Poland Tuesday.
An autopsy was conducted at the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office, and the incident remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Mahoning County Coroner's Office.
Another child was in the car who survived, as well as the driver of the car, Rosemary Huddleston, 61, who was traveling west on Route 224 when the car went off the road, struck an embankment and a tree before coming to rest in a culvert. She is from New Castle, Pa.
She was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital with serious injuries. A 4-month-old child was also taken there with minor injuries.

The coroner's office also identified the man who died in a shooting in front of 2642 Glenwood Ave., Brothers Auto, on Youngstown's South Side as Kelvin Crenshaw, 20.
An autopsy also was conducted at the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office in that day, and that matter remains under investigation by the Youngstown Police Department and Mahoning County Coroner's Office.
