YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Veterans Service Commission is hosting the Youngstown VA Vet Fest 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Carl Nunziato VA Clinic on Belmont Avenue.

The fest is a chance for veterans to connect with the Department of Veterans Affairs and community partners in one convenient location. There will be information for veterans, active-duty service members and their family members, including:

• Direct access to Veterans Affairs representatives, who will answer questions about the benefits and services that veterans have earned.

• Information about the enrollment process and help to determine if veterans are eligible for VA health care and other benefits.

• Onsite enrollment opportunities.

• General information about the VA and its services.

• Vendor tables for veterans to explore resources and connect with various organizations dedicated to serving the military community.

• Children’s activities.

• Live music.
