WHAT: Board of Education special meeting Tuesday

PRESENT: Gary Bednarik, Beth Donofrio, Judy Gozur, Tony Kelly and Tina Tsagaris

The board:

● Agreed to purchase 100 Chromebooks, Google Chrome licenses, three-year service plans, screen protectors and three charging carts from Vivacity Tech PBC in the amount of $30,301.

● Agreed to purchase equipment and installation of mobile surveillance for district school buses from Surveillance-247 LLC in the amount of $25,425.

● Agreed to purchase from DataServ network equipment and installation for the Campbell Health and Community Development Center at a cost of $13,380.53 for a period of five years, totaling $55,902.65.

● Agreed to enter into a subscription with Surveillance-247 LLC for Touchdown Cloud service at a yearly fee for mobile surveillance in the amount of $3,452.

● Agreed to a five-year standard management service agreement with DataServ for network and Wi-Fi service at the Campbell Health and Community Development Center in the amount of $4,255.27 per year for a period of five years, totaling $21,276.35.

● Entered into an agreement with PsyCare Inc. to provide mental health diagnostic assessment, behavioral counseling, therapeutic behavioral services and community psychiatric supportive treatment effective July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

● Entered into a food service management with The Nutrition Group Inc. from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.

● Entered into an agreement with the Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities for payment of the 2026 summer program for two students in the amount of $4,400 per student.

● Entered into an agreement with the Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities for payment of occupational therapy and/or physical therapy sessions for two students as per the IEP for the 2026 summer program. The cost for these services is not to exceed $948.

● Entered into an agreement with ParentSquare for a one-year subscription of the Engage 2026 Plan in the amount of $7,422.10, effective June 7, 2026, through Aug. 6, 2027.

● Entered into a facilities use/lease agreement with Eye Care Vision Care LLC (dba Eye Care Associates Inc.) to operate a licensed optometry and vision care center in the Campbell Health and Community Development Center for a period of five years, beginning Aug. 1, 2026, through July 31, 2031.

● Approved the resignation of Beth Wilson as second-grade teacher, effective June 30.

● Approved the resignation of James Clinton from the classified position of custodial helper, effective May 22.

● Made the following administrative appointments effective July 1: Kaylei Shaffer, operations and events coordinator, two years; Dallan Patterson, operations and events coordinator, two years; Miguel Cubero, cook’s helper, $13.54 per hour; and Ryann Dunn, on-board instructor, $28 per hour, and substitute bus driver, $18.50 per hour.
